Happy 1st Birthday Eli!

Our little man turned 1 year old last Friday! He had such a great time spending time with family and friends this weekend! Eli knew EXACTLY what to do with cake (stuff it in your mouth, of course) and he even showed us his latest trick; standing himself up from the ground without support from anyone or anything! He's getting so big and we love him so very much!

Don't be fooled by the WALKS that I got!

Well, I can't say that Eli is actually walking, but he can definitely take a few steps by himself. He doesn't do things on his own until he knows for a fact that it is safe and secure. So, I doubt we'll see him use walking as a mode of transportation for a few more months, but he's got the basics down at least! His first "step" was 1/4/10! Good job, my Little Man! And Happy Early Birthday for tomorrow! Maddie can't wait to decorate tonight!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Maddie!

Despite a rough ending to her birthday, I think Maddie had a great 4th birthday! Enjoy the pictures of our celebration with our immediate family and Auntie Niki. Don't worry, I made sure I didn't include any pictures that show the gash in her forehead prior to our trip to the ER :o).

Maddie wasn't feeling well on Christmas, but that won't stop her from dressing up in brand new Princess garb!

And you can rest assured that an ear infection was NOT going to put a damper on Eli's first Christmas, thank you very much!

When it really rains (like it did on Christmas), the creek in our backyard floods and starts running through our lower backyard. It's quite funny...but a little rain will never stop Odie. Not even COLD rain! He's a strange bird...errr...dog, actually!

And these aren't from Christmas, but from January 2nd, when we went to Plaza Fiesta. We'll be heading back in 2 weeks to celebrate Maddie's birthday.
